FILMS I Like

My favourite films are Historical dramas, Comedies and films based on real stories. As regards historical movies I love Elizabeth and Elizabeth The Golden Age, both based on the story of Queen Elizabeth I of England. I also like King Arthur, with Clive Owen, and Brave Heart, with Mel Gibson. Both films are based on British legends with some historical true facts.

Besides, I am fan of the movies Gladiator, with Russell Crowe, Troy, with Bad Pitt, and Alexander with Colin Farrell. These films are based on Ancient history and how wars were fought or how men fought for power and honor.

There are also some films about WWII that I like a lot such as the Italian one La Vita e Bella (Life is Beautiful) There are many other WWII I have seen, but they are rather shocking as there is too much fighting in them. Have you seen any? Is there any Japanese historical films you could recommend?

There are several comedies and Romance comedies I like. For example, Along Came Poly, The Break-up, Wedding crashers, My Big Fat Greek Wedding and 50 First Dates. Have you seen any of them?

The films based on true stories I liked most are Million Dollar Baby, Awakenings, Patch Adams and Radio. The all deal with very touching issues such as health problems, discrimination and euthanasia. They are really moving.

Among the latest I have seen I loved Slumdog Millionaire (Indian Movie) and The Bucket list, with Norman Freeman and Jack Nicholson. The reality depicted in the forme

I like some Argentine films, too, such as Nine Queens (Nueve Reinas) and The Son of the Bride (El Hijo de la Novia) Both stared by Argentine Actor Ricardo Darín. There is a new film by him coming soon, The Secrets of Her Eyes, which I hope to see soon.
