Dear Students, Thank you for reading my profile. I would love to meet you and interact with you by e-mail. There are so many interesting topics we can discuss. I think it is fantastic that we can share interesting events and issues from where we live.
The articles below discuss the very important issue of Rhino poaching. This is such a terrible problem, as the poachers remove the horn and leave the rhino to die. It is so cruel!
A very debated topic is whether to legalise the trade of Rhino horn. The idea is that this will cause the value of the horn to become very little and people will be able to buy it easily. There would, as a result, be no reason for poaching.
What do you think about this? Do you think it would work to legalise the trade? Do you have any other ideas for solving this problem? It really is so important that we protect our Rhino because otherwise they could become extinct. This would be truly tragic. Do you have problems with poachers in Japan? Do you have any protected animals or plants that are nearly extincted?
