Quote of my life

2011-03-08

“To struggle against a fault increases its power, keeps our attention riveted on its presence, and brings us a battle indeed. To forget the failing and consciously to strive to develop a virtue which would make the former impossible, this is true victory.” Edward Bach

I find this quote enlightening because often we dwell so much on our faults and thus we often have a negative view of our lives and ourselves. At the same time, we don't make changes that are really of benefit. If we only made more of an effort to work toward doing good things we would be more satisfied and more productive
