My Trip to Indonesia

At the beginning of this month, I went to Bali and its neighboring island Lombok. I really enjoyed the time that I spent in Indonesia.

Bali is a beautiful island and the people are very hospitable. We went to the town of Ubud, Bali and I enjoyed going for long walks in the early morning past the rice fields.

The people of Bali are very religious and all of their beautiful art and architecture is related to their religious beliefs.

The food in Bali was also very good. I loved gado-gado which is a dish that includes steamed vegetables, peanut sauce, and tempe.

The neighboring island of Lombok is not as well-known as Bali.

However, it is equally beautiful. The beaches are a beautiful white color and the water is a hundred shades of clear blue.

We had so much fun swimming in the ocean, viewing the beautiful countryside on the back of a motorcycle, and speaking to the the friendly inhabitants. We were even able to try surfing.

I would love to visit Lombok again!
