Karate Kid

（↑Karate Kid 2010 starring Jaden Smith） Last weekend, I had fun watching the movie Karate Kid at home. I missed watching it in the theater so I just rented a DVD. I like the movie very much as it showed the 2 different cultures, Asian and Western; more specifically Chinese culture and American. It just made me wonder though why is the title “Karate Kid” where in fact it is about Kung Fu.

Compared to the original “Karate Kid”, this movie was not bad at all.（↓Original Karate Kid, 1984 starring Ralph Macchio）

Moreover, I would recommend this to children as this is not a violent movie. A very good lesson is also taught in this movie.

“To succeed, we should always have our heart in everything that we do and it is not just all about how good we are but it is all about our attitude towards it paired with patience and determination.”
