What The Soccer World Cup means to Argentina

Our country has been world champion only twice, and we all dream with a third time!

When our national team plays nobody wants to miss the match. TV set have been set up in most offices and shops and many people even go to work later or leave earlier when a match is played.

At school, teachers are allowed to watch the match with their groups and in some institutions they even meet at a hall where a big screen is placed.

Needless to say, each goal is celebrated with hugs and excitement. Anyway, we all suffer a lot too, as we get very nervous whenever the opposite team get near our goal.

We are all looking forward to reaching the next stage in the tournament.
