Viva Espana! (Long live Spain!)

I have just returned from a fruitful holiday in the north west of Spain. Most people buy typical gifts such as chorizo (cured Spanish sausage), a plastic bull or some sangria (Spanish wine and fruit). Well an Englishman's home is his castle, as the saying goes, so I decided to buy my own castle!

Of course, not what you can see in the picture above! This is a picture of the priceless Episcopal Palace in Astorga designed by the famous Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi, which I was lucky enough to visit on my trip.

I have recently been left a small sum of money by my sorely missed nana and wanted to invest the money into some bricks and mortar and also change my lifestyle- trying to kill two birds with one stone basically. My offer has been accepted and the deposit already sent. I will keep you posted on the progress...keep your fingers crossed! :)
