Spring for two reasons!

I live a few miles from Washington, DC, and I know that it is spring for two reasons! The beautiful flowers that are blooming everywhere and the number of high school students coming to visit their nation’s capital!
Washington, DC is a popular place for school students to visit during their junior or senior year of high school. New York is another popular place.
Here are some pictures my husband took last week when he rode his bicycle around town.
The above is is a pretty view of the Lincoln Memorial and the Potomac River. There are hundreds of tulips and daffodils in bloom right now, and some of the cherry trees (thank you, Japanese nation!) are still blossoming.
This is the front of the Lincoln Memorial. In May there will be even more students! If you come to Washington, DC, the stairs of the Lincoln Memorial are a wonderful place to sit and look at the view.
