It’s really mind-blowing when you see all the countries that fit inside the continent of Africa. China AND the US AND India AND most of Europe.
Do you see Japan squeezed in the southeast corner? Unbelievable.
This graphic was created by Kai Krause to fight what he calls ‘immappancy,’ a funny word I’d never heard before. I guess it’s like illiteracy (can’t read words), but for maps—to misunderstand the size and placement of countries in the world.
